Hello,

Hello,

I have a Bigfoot Killer Wireless-N 1103 wifi card, I am having alot of problems with maintaining a stable connection.

My laptop: Sager NP8170 (Clevo P170HM)

Since I have received the laptop I have had trouble keeping a stable connection with this card. Whenever I play games, it repetitively loses connection to my modem(router) for about 2-5 seconds and then the connection reinstablishes.
Sometimes it happens to lose connection entirely while still being connected to the modem, saying: "No internet acces" yet it is still connected. In order to fix this, I have to disconnected from and reconnect to the router, only to find out that after a few minutes it happens again.

So far I have tried changing my router, I first had a Hauwei and I changed it with a Netgear, however the modem/router does not seem to be the problem.
I tend to have the same problems at different places e.g. school and friends etc.

I have read on this forum the problem might be an interference from virus scanner or firewalls.
I have disabled all firewalls (router and pc) and yet the problem persists. I have removed my virus scanner and reinstalled the drivers several times.
I have tried to just launch windows with the Bigfoot Networks killer manager disabled, yet the problem stays.

I am out of ideas and it's driving me crazy, Would love to get support on this ASAP.
I just read a post for subsitute drivers from Atheros, is this an option ?

Kind regards,
Inreality

While using the Killer pro with windows 7 I have problems with my xbox being able to find my computer on the home network and accessing files. when it does work there seems to be some lag with video play. If i connect my network to my on board LAN i have no trouble. My question is:

Can i totally bypass my router and use my onboard LAN as my gate to my xbox while still using the Killer as my internet connection. Totally removing the XBOX from my router and homenetwork?

Would using the on board and Killer be possible?

Was running the Killer 2100 on my desktop and kept getting kicked from Battlefield 2, for punkbuster B handshake failure. I went through alot of pain to figure out that it was the Killer 2100. Once I set the Priority to 1 for Punkbuster A and Punkbuster B .exe files, the problem went away.

It would be helpful if the card automatically set Punkbuster A and Punkbuster B exe files to priority 1, this could help other gamers that have this problem. Just a suggestion, please look into it!:)

Hello! I just installed my m1 today and everything went smooth. Upon...

Hello! I just installed my m1 today and everything went smooth. Upon rebooting it got frozen, but I did not dread, I've read some posts on the forum before installing everything, so I was prepared. As I am using Windows 7 x64, I did not install any drivers from the cd, since they only had vista and xp drivers.

The first problem hit me quite fast, but I still thought nothing off it. KillerTray.exe had shut down. Oh well, I thought, sounds like something that isn't really -vital- so I went forward. Seeing that I wasn't connected to the internet no more, I tried clicking on KillerConfig (Sounds reasonable, right?), and it asked me for a Firmware update. Sure, I said, no problem. I was kinda sure I saw the firmware being upgraded during the initial setup, but hey, if it wants to, then fine. Flashing went very fast, surprisingly since it stated it should probably take around 5 minutes. Again, I thought, hey, I newly got an SSD and a quite clean install of Windows, so it's probably that.

A lot of reboots later, I figure out that even though KillerConfig is asking for a firmware flash, nothing is actually happening. Since it keeps asking. Clicking no on it I did get into the program though.

This is what I see in my BigfootDiag:
And finally, what I got from ipconfig /all:

Ethernet adapter Killer NIC:

media state - media disconnected
connection-specific DNS suffic: blank
Desc: Killer NIC NDIS EDGE Interface
Physical Address: FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF
DHCP enabled: Yes
Autoconfiguration enabled: yes

My onboard NIC was disabled, and uninstalled. I can interact with my Killer NIC, changing the LED function, when I put my ethernet cable in it, it lights up green, but tells me there's no cable connected. Every app in the program folder is running with admin settings. And sticking a USB memory into the card makes the LEDs on the USB memory glow, as should.

I'm thinking that the issue is lack of firmware, and I'm hoping I haven't done something wrong somewhere and didn't render the card broken.

Too much info for a ticket, and as I'm in Europe I didn't want to wait around until late at night to catch your live chat. I hope these issues can be solved.

Hi, sorry for my English, but i am not a native speaker.

So i have:

A Clevo P150HM Barbone
Core I7 2760QM
16 GB RAM
AMD 6990M
Crucial m4 512 GB SSD
Windows 7 64 Bit

AND a Wifi Killer-N 1102, Wifi Killer-N and a Intel Wifi 6300 AGN

The antennas 1 to 3 are correct pluged into the Wifi Card.

All drivers are up to date
Virus Scanner F-Secure Internet Security

My Router is a Speedport W504V

I play League of Legends and the Game can show the ping, in every game with a N 1103 or N 1102 the ping go randomly up from 14 to 999 2-6 times and after a few seconds the ping is normal.

I checked this situation with Killer Control Centre and without it. No effect, but without it i have a ping of 46, with it 15.

I checked out Wlan Optimizer -> No effect.

inSSIDer says my RSSI is 47-50

The channels are free.

Nothing is disturbing the connection.

The router is 5 meter away from my notebook, there are no walls between it.

And i have lags.

So now, i bought a Intel Wifi 6300 AGN, the Notebook is at the same place
AND i have no Lags, perfect connection, ping at 15.

So now where is the problem with the N 1102 and N 1103 Wifi cards?

Hi

I own a Killer2100 and every time when i play "World of Tanks"...

Hi

I own a Killer2100 and every time when i play "World of Tanks" MMORPG for some Battles, the Killer App crashes.

I remark this the way, that when i exit the Game and hover with my Mouse over the ŽKiller Tray IconŽ it just vanishes.. the App quit.. crashed.. dunno

Then to get it running again, i cant just restart the ŽKillerNetManagerŽ - to get it running again, i have to Kill the BFNService.exe Task in Taskmanager, then restart the Service in Windows Services, and then i can start the ŽKillerNetManagerŽagain so i have the App running... then, stuff works like normal again

While this is happening, i dont experience interruptions in Datatraffic, just the App does not run anymore (wonder if the QoS is still working.. dunno)

I have the most recent Software/ Firmware installed.. the Virusscanner was disabled while installing, and the Bigfoot Folder is also excluded in my VirusScanner

I dont know what to do..

Perhaps Support or anybody can try once how this behaves in this Game (World of Tanks) - the Game is Free to Play, anybody can install it..

-> one strange Thing i remarked when this Game is running:

If i am on the Application Dashboard, there is flickering a Task/App with a DriveSymbol on top.. hard to say what it exactly is - seems to be not properly recognized by the KillerApp.. (somtimes in addition, the Game reports that the VoiceChat is not working when i try to make a Platoon - but i did nowhere block the VoiceChat of "World of Tanks" but this happens only when the Killer2100 is built in.. so it must have something to do with this - just a feeling)

Hope there will be some Fix, my hope is that perhaps Support can install the Game and debug what happens when running the Game? :)

So i bumped the iTunes thread for the newer guys in hopes of a solution to my issue with my older M1 nic card and iTunes.

I have the latest or the last driver they added for my Killer Nic.
I have the itunes issues that everyone else was having but it seems there is no new driver update for me.
So do i just have to deal with no itunes, or deal with a product that i can't use pretty much anymore?

I've had the Killer M1 since it was released on the market, and i've been happy with it up until the iTunes issue.

So even when DON'T use my Killer M1, and plug it back into the onboard Lan, iTunes still doesn't work. I believe it's an issue with the bfllr.dll file. At least that is what most of the search i've turned up on iTunes forums comes back with.

Again any help here would be awesome. I'd love to get my new iPhone registered and what not.

I have an issue when joining my own "dedicated server" on my own computer.
When using a game client to join a dedicated server on my own computer system, the computer will BSOD.
The BSOD originates from Xeno7x64.sys

This issue occurs on Source engine games like Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2 Deathmatch, Garry's Mod. Counter Strike Source.
Hoping this could be sorted, because so far I am forced to just host listen servers. :/

As for my system specs
I have Intel Core i7 930 @2.80GHz
16 GB RAM
Windows 7 x64
Killer E2100 (integrated npu)

This issue also occurs on the other computer where I have the Killer 2100.

Edit: I forgot to mention this happens on Listen servers too (but doesn't occur as much).

My husband updated my XenoPro NIC card last night and I can no longer get internet connection through that card. I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

The error I get says "The Firmware and Driver do not match. Would you like to attempt to fix this now by flashing? NOTE: After flashing, a reboot is required for the changes to take effect. if you have seen this message multiple times, go to www.BigfootNetworks.com and download the latest driver package."

I click "yes" and NOTHING happens. I even rebooted after about 10 minutes just in case I was missing something (which I doubted). I have spent all day scouring past posts, tried uninstalls, reinstalls, checked updates, tried installing various drivers (as there are about 6 or 7 listed), running in Safemode, cmd prompts etc... With each try came another error that is listed on the knowledge base page (ex. Error 1603, Error 1721, etc.) and again I tried each of the "solutions" to absolutely no avail. I even tried running the "cleaner" tool and as soon as I clicked to run it, it was done so I knew it didn't work right away (as nothing finishes that fast).

I have now restored it all back to where I started as NOTHING I tried worked. I submitted a ticket and left a message for support and here it is 6 hours later and I am no closer to fixing this issue.

Please, please, please tell me there is a solution for this! Thanks

Should I remove old card first, then uninstall drivers and device, sweep with cleaner. When thats done should I put the card in then install software or should I install software first?

Hey all of the Killer 2100 / E2100 users. I found a new version of the driver package over here http://station-drivers.com/page/atheros.htm . I will now download and try them.

Any news from official staff would be nice!!!

Attention!: It looks like this version has a serious installation problem. After a few attempts i cant get LSP installed. And the bug with 25% CPU usage in networksmanager.exe is already happen. LED is broken again but i dont know if this belongs to the not installed LSP. I do not recommend this driver. Be aware of problems if u try it!

I am going back to the older version 310 which date is 22.02.12 omg.

So background first:
I had a major system failure on my Alienware Aurora Alx that resulted in the Alienware tech support doing a new install of Windows 7 (64bit) after the reinstall my KillerXeno Pro would not connect online. Back to tech support, many hours spent with them fiddling with it and no success. The last attempt they uninstalled the card through the device manager and now system wont even recognize that the card is there, so now Tech Support says the card is bad and they are sending me a new one-ok, so hopefully this works. My question is there are now lots of drivers, and various outher software related to the card on my computer-should I uninstall all these files BEFORE I install the new card? And start with new software either from disk with card or redownloaded? And is the a file cleaner I should use before the new install?
Sorry for the long post, now sure if there's enough info here, but I can't even run/post the diagnostic info since the card isnt showing up
Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is getting very frustrating.
